Returns & Inspection Policy

At Gallery in the Woods, every artwork is selected with curatorial intention and offered with clear provenance and documentation. Because many works are limited editions, signed pieces, or historically significant prints, all sales are final.

However, we want collectors to feel confident and protected. For that reason, we offer a 48‑hour inspection window upon delivery.

48‑Hour Inspection Window

Upon receiving your artwork, you have 48 hours to inspect the piece for:

  • shipping damage

  • condition issues not described in the listing

  • material misrepresentation

If any of these issues are present, please contact us within 48 hours so we can resolve the matter.

Eligible Resolutions

If a valid issue is reported within the inspection window, we may offer:

  • replacement (if applicable)

  • repair (if applicable)

  • store credit

  • or a full refund

Resolution options depend on the nature of the artwork, its edition, and availability.

Non‑Eligible Returns

We cannot accept returns for:

  • buyer’s remorse

  • change of preference

  • size, color, or style not matching expectations

  • works kept beyond the 48‑hour inspection window

  • damage occurring after delivery

Shipping Damage

If your artwork arrives damaged:

  1. Photograph the packaging and the artwork immediately

  2. Contact us within 48 hours

  3. We will coordinate a replacement or resolution

We insure all shipments for their full value.

Authenticity & Documentation

All works are guaranteed to be authentic and accurately described. If any material discrepancy is discovered, we will work with you to resolve it fully.
